Can anyone recommend any good Greek youtubers?

I've come across a few prolific 'lifestyle' vloggers, i.e.:

https://www.youtube.com/user/MyGreekBurlesque https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCt5t6HdEiitcD1wm1ue1jA https://www.youtube.com/user/imikriollandeza1

But personally I don't find this kind of content particularly engaging.

I'm looking for some informative and/or comic channels, preferably with Greek subs.

This is a BBC created series with authentic sounding dialogue. Worth a try. I'll keep looking and get back to you.

This is a great resource for beginners. I'm looking for something more advanced that doesn't have a learning focus - just a Greek native speaker talking about things (unrelated to make-up/fashion).

A top list according the number of subscribers is here. https://socialblade.com/youtube/top/country/gr

It doesn't mean that it is the kind of YouTube channels you are looking for but maybe there's something interesting.

I've tried trawling through this list in the past, but it is dominated by promotional TV/music channels. I'm hoping someone will know of an entertaining youtuber, akin to Cyprien, Joueur du Grenier, etc, or an educational channel.

The most famous entertaining youtubers are probably Jeremy, 2j, Konilo and some others. LPDudes are famous for their occasional Greek Rap Battles (ERB style). The biggest educational channel I found was Καθημερινή Φυσική. Ιf you're interested in travelling search for "Μάγια Τσόκλη" and "Μαμαλάκης". They don't have their own channels, but many of their travel show episodes were uploaded on youtube (Mamalakis' show includes cooking too, though). Then there's Ευτύχης Μπλέτσας who makes travel vlogs.

Thanks, @konosp for posting these and for reminding me about the "Μάγια Τσόλη" series they are well done and interesting. They're a good source of good Greek with interesting content.

I used to follow "Μαμαλάκης" too and now I see he's doing some new and interesting videos.

I don't really know the others. Ευτύχης Μπλέτσας seems interesting.

@SilentShuffle Unfortunately, none have closed circuit subtitles. Sometimes it's a good trick to use a slower speed if you are not catching everything.

2J has very good audio quality which makes his channel pretty good for language learners.

I also watch Cat Von K, Manos, and a little bit of Unboxaholics, to throw a few more names out

@konosp Amazing! Thank you! These are exactly the kind of channels I was looking for, particularly the first two. And the rap battles have subtitles - hooray! And thanks @Spoonashy for the other suggestions!

If you like science at all, I recommend: Astronio, and Καθημερινή Φυσική.
I also like 'The Mad Scientist' (it's in Greek), but it is considerably more difficult for me.

[Edit added]: I just checked youtube and discovered there are about a thousand mad scientists. Try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbWSILfs654

If you haven't already, take a look at "Easy Greek" on YT, featuring Greeks on the street being interviewed on various questions, with bilingual subtitles to help. Here's a link to one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vcSK1OaeMo Best, Paul
