"That is my daughter's castle."

Translation:To je hrad mé dcery.

October 31, 2017

I answered ''tamto je mojí dcery hrad'' and was marked wrong, duo then said the answer ''tamto je dceřin hrad'' . So I guess we can use the possesives(eg: dceřin) if they exist in place of gen. poss+gen. noun construction? and if so how common is it?

I answered:"To je me dcery hrad" Why is it wrong?

the permissible order is "hrad mé dcery", not "mé dcery hrad". the latter sounds sloppy and is non-standard czech.
