What one can learn from the Duolingo forums and users

I have been using the forums for quite a few years, but I realized not to long ago that what I see on these forums has benefited my life. Some times, users/moderators will come across a difficult user, but they treat them so nicely and humorously that it inspires me to do the same. When I participate in other communities, forums, discussions, etc, I have put into practice what I have learned and it drastically improves the discussions. I am so thankful for those who have taken the time on Duolingo to be a light and respectful example on here. You have helped me to be a more kind and learned user on the internet and a nicer koala in the real world! Thanks.

Congrats on your 100 day streak, by the way. ❤

(just kidding but really... maybe i'm just a pessimist but i see a lot more of those posts than anything really nice or constructive)

      This week, in particular.

This week will forever be known as ''Spam week''. I've never seen so much spam in one week ever before in my life.

It's just kids who are bored in their language class and think that spamming is hilarious.

I always laugh at the ones who get angry when they are downvoted. (o^▽^o)

        Oh yeah, that's always fun.

I believe you are right, but if we give those discussions some thought maybe we can deal with them in a constructive way....

Hey Mindstroms! Its Kaylee! I really liked your post and would love to give this Lingot for your nice and kind posts and helping others! I hope that you continue to have a helping hand and a loving person to the real world! And that makes me a happy koala! I love them! lol:D
