Somehow it feels strange to me that "wants" is equivalent with "vil gerne have". To me it seems intuitive that "vil gerne have" would translate to a polite "would like to have", while a blunt "wants" would simply be "vil" in Danish. Can anyone tell me if I'm in any way right with this? Because Duo seems to think I'm not.

Couldn't one also translate 'uret' as "the clock"?
An example: Siblings are dividing up their deceased parents' belongings.

If the sentence is about a specific clock/watch, then "uret" (the clock) is correct
