'You' has different meanings in English, which allows for as many correct translations in German:

  • "Ich esse, du spielst";
  • "Ich esse, ihr spielt";
  • "Ich esse, Sie spielen".

Why isn't ich esse, Sie spielen correct?

It is, although rather odd.

The English sentence is not punctuated correctly. A comma is wrong; it requires a semicolon.

I have seen NONE of these forms of the words in this quiz throughout my ENTIRE study time. Why are they included as if they have? JUNK APP MAYBE?
