Download Anki, the "core 10k" deck for Anki, an amazing digital dictionary called Tagaini Jisho and use them together.

Tagaini Jisho is an amazingly complete Japanese dictionary. It comes with animated stroke orders for every kanji as well. It's also open source so there's that.
