If you want to try to translate it into English with the subjunctive I think you'd have to say "It may be that my father go" or maybe "Perhaps my father go". Both sentences that I imagine have never been said ever :P not least of all because no one uses the present subjunctive in English these days.

I actually entered "perhaps my father goes", which is not far off, but it was marked wrong :(
