Six Nations school launches app that teaches people to speak Mohawk
Good news for people forever wanting new languages on Duolingo, especially North American indigenous languages.
Sure it's not Duolingo but it's still something. Mohawk is an Indigenous North American Language.

"Six Nations Polytechnic (SNP) launched an app this week called Speak Mohawk, which teaches words and phrases for a language spoken by about 2,350 people within Canada's borders."
It says it's on Google Play and I-Tunes.

Neat! What a great way to preserve cultural heritage and taking the Mohawk language to where the people are.
Thank you for posting this, susanstory. I hope you don't mind that I've linked to it in my discussion Interactive map of North American Indigenous languages and treaties. ^_^

This is the one through Thornton Media Inc? Looks like they have seven other language apps as well.
