How Duold are you?
I am 4 years and 2 months years Duold. I started to use Duolingo for the very frst time on September 11th, 2013.
What about you? :)
I joined on January 21st, 2014. So about 3 years and 10 months, almost four years! I've taken a lot of breaks in between though and deleted some languages (to start over). I really love it here.
You're only 4? I thought for sure you joined closer to when I did. Who knew?
Tomorrow will be my 2 year anniversary of using duolingo seriously,
but I joined for the first time every in like 2011 or 2012 or something because my HAL teacher told me about it when it first came out.
Thank you! It's a bit more complicated for me though because I created like 3 different accounts. THe first one that I created and seriously got into was created november 21st of 2015, while the "AkicsiMacska" account was created like may of 2016.
But my first account ever was created when I was in the beginning of middle school
I made an account in middle school, forgot about it, made another one, forgot about that, then like a year later, made another one, but literally my entire family found it and everyone was following me, and I felt like I couldn't participate in discussions, or be myself really, so I made a new account to get away from them, and that is this account.
Since this post, I've been trying to find that first Duolingo account I made, but I don't even remember what my username or anything was, because I was in 5th or 6th grade
(so do any of you people know how I might go about finding it?)
You can search for accounts by email address with the search module at the bottom of your leaderboard on the Duolingo home page. Your old account might pop up if you can remember the old email address.
Thanks for the idea! I'll try it, and just pray I didn't use a fake email!! (I probably did though)
Is it possible to find out when a user's account was created without signing in? I can't remember the password, but I found an account
Edit: Okay so my second duolingo account was made 4 years ago :)
I don't remember the username or email of my very very first one though. This is frustrating :(
I started on October 4th, 2013 so I am 4 years and 1 month duold ;-)
I started doing Duolingo seriously on October 2, 2016, although I started my first account in August 2012.
My account is 4 years, 4 months, 2 days old :o
Today I did something momentous in my Duo history... I reset my Dutch level from 17 to the beginning again. It's gotten so rusty due to my circumstances changing so I feel like I needed to start at the beginning without seeing my entire tree looking decayed. But I think my main language is going to be Norwegian (and Dutch can be the language I use with all the Dutch friends I've made over the years).
My Duo will turn 4 in February. It gained quite a lot of knowledge since then...
Dw i'n un blwyddyn a pedwar mis Duoed.
I'm one year and four months Duold.
(I'm sorry for that Welsh translation, lmao.)
From my first account:
Learning since 2013-07-29
:) I created a new one this summer.
Well, I'm 1 year and 2 months Duold, but I started using duolingo seriously for about 5 months.
I created this account on March 25, 2015. So...a little over 2 and a half years.
I wish I found out about Duo sooner!
I joined on the 25/07/15. Don't know how old that is exactly though xD
I'm 2 years and 13 days. (◕‿◕)
My 2 year Duoversary post is here.
2 years next month! Although I've been on here learning seriously for maybe 2 weeks now!
September 11th, 2017
So about 2 months Duold!
Two months Duold. Unfortunately, I do not have the exact date. But my current streak (59 at the time of posting) tells you how Duold I am.
Hmmm.......just turned 2 years Duold 2 months ago..........look how far I've come!
I first logged on Duo 2 years, 5 months and 31 days ago, but I've been seriously using it since June 24th of 2017 :)
I started on February 11th, 2015. So, my Duo is 2 years and 9 month old. He is still a baby owl and still cute. And, 3 months away he will celebrate his 3rd birthday.
Four and a half years. I remember being so excited when I found this site that I finally found an easy, effective way to start learning a language.
I joined on January 6, 2014, so it's 4 years in 2018, although I've been taking breaks from Duolingo because of travelling.
3 years and 2 months! Hard to imagine Duo has been a daily part of my life for so long. :)
I just recently turned 1 duold. I started Espanol on Duolingo 4-20-17, but the duoversary went by without fanfare because I didn't know the date :-( This is because I started on Android mobile and used mostly mobile. I just started using the desktop and love all the features!! My two year Espanolversary is July 15. I started learning in the car on way to work. I won't let that anniversary pass without notice. :-)
3 years and 5 months Duold but i've been taking long breaks. I'm back now and already 251 days streak my longest :) Spanish, English and French trees finished (french&arabic native), German tree will join very soon + halfway into the Russian and the Japanese tree and hoping to find time for some Turkish and Swedish... j'espere que le latin et le grec ancien feront leur entrée à Duo un jour, pourquoi pas le Farsi aussi...
I'm about 4 and a half years Duold - I joined January 2, 2014
Although I took a two year hiatus in the middle, so I've really only been actively Duolingoing for about two years
