So should people study more or less? So many contradicting demands in this module.
How to be understand the difference between "shouldn't have studied" and "shouldn't study"?
'shouldn't have studied' is about the past - she did study a lot and it wasn't a good idea. (Maybe she made herself ill.) 'Shouldn't study' would be about the present and future - it would mean she studies a lot now and she should give herself a break.
Please explain why the "correct translation" is: "She wasn't supposed to study so much." and why "She shouldn't have studied so much?" is incorrect.
What are you smoking? "She shouldn't have studied so much?" is given as the correct translation at the top of this page!
When I wrote my translation, the corrected version was given as ""She wasn't supposed to study so much."
