Hello Duolingo Owl! Please can you have pity on English English speakers please! I wrote "A nurse goes to the chemist's", which is what we would say. Can it be added as an alternative please? I think "orderly" must be American English.
An orderly in english is a caretaker in a long term care facility. Not necessarily a nurse but someone physically strong enough to help patients out of bed or chairs or to restrain an out of control patient having an episode etc.
If the comments answering to "who is 'un infirmier' say 'a male nurse'" why would Duolingo complicate it by translating it as "orderly"? Just call it "nurse", please
