What is high valyrian?

I heard about high Valyrian just recently, but I don’t know where it is from. Since it’s on Duo it must be quite important. Thanks.

It's a conlang (constructed language) created for Game of Thrones, based on a few words from the books.

Unfortunately Duolingo doesn't care much about what is important. High Valyrian or Klingon in detriment of Swahili with Audio, Arabic or Thai is really proof of that.

I'm with aizzo409 - I wanted to learn Thai as I would be in Thailand for 2 months, but it's not here.. but High Valyrian and Klingon are...?

Maybe a good marketing stunt to make them money, but it definitely seems to me that the priorities are in the wrong place.

    Isn't Thai in Duolingo now?

I wanted to maybe learn some basic Thai but I guess they have their priorities in FICTIONAL languages. Is it even a full language to learn? wtf.

I would like to take a lesson or two but there's no audio so I don't know how to pronounce it! lol

There's also a note about the HV Phonology under the first lesson, at the Tips & Notes section.
