The rejection of my use of 看见 here just adds to my confusion about the use of 看, 见, and 看见. The lessons in DL seem to be very inconsistent in their use, and there is no explanation of the inconsistency.
I am interested in the listening and speaking part of learning mandarin and not reading characters. Does duolingo have a version that only focuses on listening and speaking?
