Chinese is glitchy

When I strengthen something in Chinese, it doesn't save what I do. Also, many have multiple answers but the question's answer here has only one correct answer. It is also very picky about grammar compared to most other language courses. What's wrong?

It has been very inflexible about accepting equally valid answers in both Chinese and English. It is starting to improve, as more reports are filed. It is already, in terms of accepting different translations, much improved compared to a few weeks ago.

More answers use "word tiles" which restricts the possible answers, but saves the frustration of having to type stuff in and hope they would accept it. So, just keep sending in the reports and this problem should be greatly reduced in a month or so.

The more permanent problem, as I see it, is that the course is far more appealing to people who want to review the Chinese they already know, rather than students who are new to Chinese. Total beginners are more likely to be put off and give up.

The 5/5 strength drops down to 4/5 in 2 days. It is way to fast to handle.

It is still extremely strict about grammar and one typo could cost you a redo at the end.

It doesn't have the Fluency thing where it shows how fluent you are.
