To me Swiss French is just a bit strange, I'm used to French from France and Belgium but like in Québec they have a different accent, other vocabulary like "natel for téléphone, huitante for quatre-vingt, maturité for baccalauréat..." some words are also influenced by German. You will find some words that are used by people living in Savoie that are also used in Swiss French, as the French spoken by people living in the Hauts-de-France and Belgium. That is because of the geographical proximity and our history.

Very little difference between French and Swiss French. Some vocabulary, a bit of pronunciation, and that’s about it.
