Chinese study resources

你好!

Here are some useful Chinese language resources:

https://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/grammar https://www.chineseboost.com/ http://www.chinese-grammar.org/ https://www.chinaeducenter.com/en/learnchinese/lessons.php http://www.brighthubeducation.com/learning-chinese/

about the four phonetic tones: https://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/pronunciation/Four_tones

Hanzi dictionary, which I found really helpful, since the same hanzi may have different pronounciation and meanings:

Good luck with your studies, everyone! 祝你好运! :)

1) "Pleco" is the go to Mandarin-English dictionary used and recommended by professional teachers. Its easy to search out the free download. If planning to run it on Windows 10 you need to get an android simulator like 'Bluestack' first. 2) Also explore "MDGB", free download. https://www.mdbg.net/chinese/ Both of the above can deal with paragraph size translations both ways, giving both pinyin and chanzi outputs. 3) Real afficianados should try to get 'IFly', a powerful resource used by most professionals inside China. Someone good with this can always be a few steps ahead in real time. Its hard to download outside PRC and help from a user might be needed to get started.
