Or, you know, you can just press the "Hanja Convert" key on a Korean keyboard and the IME will do the job for you. And you don't even need to know Chinese for that.

No, I do like Hanja, and try to incorporate as many as I can in my Korean study. What I meant was that you don't need to know Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) just to know Hanja, they're two different things and knowing Hanja doesn't mean you could speak fluently in Chinese either. I was just trying to stress how easy it really is for anyone to start using Hanja, without having to learn a whole another language like Chinese.
