Duolingo not working, support not responding

I reported a bug here a couple of times, and have provided as much information on it as I can. It is recurring again, this time in a way that prevents me from getting any meaningful work done. (Today I've tried and failed to complete three tests.) I am willing and able to test, but so far as I can tell, no one has even looked at it in over a month.

You mean the "Certificate" test you buy from the store? You buy it and take it and it malfunctions and puts you back in the store? I've never taken the test it seems kind of pointless to me. The practice is a good enough indication for me if I can't get 100% right I need to keep practicing.

No. I am in a test, I answer a question, I hit Enter (or the Continue button), I hear a "ding" indicating a correct answer, and ... the next page I see is the Store. The test is over.

So you mean "test" as in a "lesson" on the skill tree? Install another web browser and see if it happens with it. if it does try another computer and see if it happens with your account. Report back your results.

I've had it happen on multiple computers already. As for other browsers: I want the site to work in Chrome. I'm willing to do a bit of QA testing for them, but installing multiple browsers is a bit much, I think. At any rate, even if it worked on another browser, a lack of symptoms doesn't equal a lack of problems. This particular problem went away for me for a while, but it's back now with a vengeance.

I'm not suggesting you switch browsers. I'm suggesting you see if you can replicate the problem with another browser on the same computer. If it is fine with a second browser that means go back to Chrome and see if there are problems with your plugins or configuration with it. If it happens with a second browsers it is your computer and/or account that has the issue. The fact it happens on multi-computers suggest it something wrong with your account on duolingo's end. That is unless you are using nearly identical configured computers with some rare setup. An intermittent problem that you cannot show duolingo how to replicate is going to be impossible for them to track down.

I didn't mention switching browsers, just installing them. Anyway, I went a few weeks without seeing the problem even Chrome. So lack of symptoms on any browser wouldn't be very helpful. The problem may exist anyway, lurking in the shadows.

Diagnosis may be difficult, but it can't be impossible - especially if they have a tracing feature. Something makes me think they don't have one, though. Maybe they should add one.
