Translation:Tu vois les marchés.
Isn´t bourse the preferred term for the stock markets? Is marché a less utilized work for the same thing? My experience has been that marché is usually used to express special deals /pricing ( called sales in the USA). Maybe other people have had a different experience with this word... Anyone?
La bourse is very specific (as you said stock market). Nothing here tells us that we are speaking about stock markets. We speak about a market, either the physical place, or the abstract concept (job market = marché du travail)
This is a reference to street markets where fresh produce is sold. If you have ever watched Le Tour de France on the telly you would know that the French countryside is littered with them.
