Can I pass a German GCSE in 6 months?

Background: I used to live in Norway, but I moved to London 3 months ago. In Norway I took 1 year of German, but i only learnt the easy stuff. My school wants me to take any foreign language (if i want to) by the end of year 9. Im concerned if I am able to pass a German GCSE in 6 months.

If it is possible, please give me any tips

I went from zero to fluent in Spanish in roughly 6 months (100% immersion and spent almost every waking hour speaking, reading, or writing). So, I'd say with one year of study already under your belt, and extreme dedication there's no reason you can't do it. My experience with Spanish was that I studied in such an extreme way (I don't think I spoke more than 1000 words in English during that whole time) that I frequently experienced headaches and exhaustion. I think fluency is possible for anybody (because I don't consider myself a genius by any means). it's just a matter of how much pain you want to go through to achieve your goals.

I think that its possible if you keep up with it every day and do your best.
