Hello! I'm currently trying to learn Korean and progress is going good so far, but I thought that if there were Korean Duolingo bots then it could really improve my Korean. I know that Duolingo so far has chatbots for Spanish, French, and German but when will the other languages come in? The bots sound like a really good idea, but it could really help me if there were more languages added. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you, and happy learning! :-D
Hmm, I'm not sure. I would estimate that languages like Korean will eventually be added, but at what time? Who knows. This feature is probably a lot of work to develop, even for easier languages like Spanish. Korean would probably take a lot longer. I don't know anything about the process, but I do think that they will continue adding Romance / European languages before they expand to Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc. That's just how it goes. But I hope they add it soon, for your sake! Just keep your fingers crossed; who knows, it may be sooner than you think. And good luck with Korean! :)
I can confirm that the bots are awesome. I save the new ones up as a treat for myself :D
I'm guessing the spread to other languages will be slow and start with the ones with the most users, and korean is pretty new so my educated guess would be that it'll take a while. I hope I am mistaken, though!
How about adding "for Korean" to the subject?
I can not speak about the target language Korean in general or course quality, but there is:
