1000 Day Streak
My 1st streak was 320 days, the next was 62 days, the next was 61 days and now I am at 1000 and counting. This included trips to Latin America and the Far East. One we go. So, that is 1,443 days with only 3 days missed.
I started only knowing Hola, Gracias, Adios and a few other words. I have used Rosetta Stone, Memrise and DuoLingo. I learned different things from each program. I learned the most from DuoLingo because they used to allow the friends to communicate with each other. If I was stuck on an issue with the language, the answer was only a contact away. Now that they have discontinued that part of the program, it is now just another program like the others. That is what set DuoLingo apart from the other programs.
I am still thankful to the creators of Duolingo for putting the program together and offering it to the public for free.
I know right, I could never have gotten a 1,000 day streak, but maybe I will get there someday. # love duo
Way to go on persevering in achieving your language goals. I guess you might try the other routes as far as speaking with other people. ( i.e. : Hi Native , WeSpeke, italki ..)
You are doing wonderful. I can't seem to maintain during travel. :) Enjoy a Lingot.
