Maybe we should Tweet?

Just throwing ideas here. Maybe we should tweet at @Duolingo (respectively) to get their attention. Perhaps if enough people do it we can get updates to the Swahili course. I'm using the hashtag #fixswahilicourse

It's worth a try.

I find it hard to believe that neither Duolingo nor the contributors are not aware of the situation. If I were lucky enough to be accepted for a course I would still check on it even if I was no longer available to help. Beta does not mean complete.

What's wrong with the course? I'm curious as I plan on studying it in the future.

Many mistakes, no audio

iesnes is correct. Many mistakes in the more advanced lessons. and no audio. And yet they have released other new languages with audio

Or you can take matters into your own hands. You've probably seen some activity around these parts of the forum.

what do you mean? Are you suggesting that I enlist as a contributor? I am unable to contribute because I am not fluent. :-(

December 11, 2017

I think we could contribute, but DuoLingo seems to require fluency in the language. My guess is that I can fix at least 60% of the errors without problem. Adding the audio is a bit harder I guess. I did not try to apply.

let’s give it a try. I have had at least one of my corrections accepted recently so someone must be there. Also, I know some people who speak fluently and maybe they can contribute audio. Plus, I am a Swahili student at university here in AZ. I will ask my instructor for help.
