Done with Chinese learning on Duolingo? No, not yet! It's time to advance yourself!
Want greater Chinese improvements? Feel that there isn't enough material in the course? Try English for Chinese speakers course. Here are some you will encounter during your learning adventure:
- There is greater amount of advantage if you learn different 漢字 (Hanzi) and sentences structures.
- Once you feel you mastered up to HSK 3+ and the structure, you will be able to establish your own sentences. Instead of the usual "再見" you learned in every-day Chinese course, you can produce "拜拜". Same meanings, but different words! 太好了！
- Even if the vocabularies are borrowed from Chinese for English speakers course, you will be able to use the vocabularies you learned outside. Sounds amazing, isn't it?
- You are able to switch from simplified (简体字) to traditional (繁體字). Though the word choices will be in simplified, you should be familiar with how the radicals are positioned.
第一建議 (First advice): Master most of the materials in Duolingo first before you try English for Chinese speakers course. That is: you should be able to both read and write. The reason is that there is no pinyin (拼音) provided during the course.
第二建議 (Second advice): If your HSK level is about 4+, you should be able to breeze through the material.
第三建議 (Third advice): Help yourself with the flashcard or some memorization technique when learning certain 漢字.

As a fun bonus, take a look through the reports and see if you can first understand what the users say in Chinese. :)
I finished the reverse course way before the English one came out. And this is coming from someone who hasn't taken HSK yet.... （Sorry I sound hipster and braggy). I reccomend you install Zhongwen popup dictionary for chrome to aid you since there is no pinyin help if you sort of wanna learn the character's pinyin on the side.
