Pluperfect Grammar Notes Missing

Bonjour! Ce matin j'ai vu qu'il n'y a rien des notes de la grammaire dans la section du plus-de-parfait. Pourquoi? Je peux trouver seulement les regles, mais c'est probablement plus facile si l'information est en Duolingo. Je suis sure que tout le monde est d'accord. Merci beaucoup!

Writing this also brought up another question: To say alone when describing an action, do you use seulement or do you have to say something else (I saw someone say par moi-meme)? Sorry there aren't any accent marks in any of this either. I'm on my laptop and can't figure out the French keyboard to save my life.

The plus‐que‐parfait is the compound form of the imperfect and is formed by using the imperfect of the appropriate auxiliary verb ( avoir or être) + the past participle of the verb. Its English equivalent is “had” + past participle:

J'avais mal à l'estomac parce que j'avais trop mangé. → "I had a stomachache because I had eaten too much."
