New Update Involving Replying?

I just realized while replying on this post that now a new update (on the web, at least) allows you to reply to comments that get really far over. I like the fact that there isn't a limit to how far over that you can reply, because we have been asking for this for a while now, but it's also kinda weird because things get super squished. Is this available on mobile/app/potato? It' great that they added this feature that will allow us to get notifications when we get replied to really far over-oh wait. We're still not getting notifications except for followers. rip. Oh whale. Thnks t th DL ppl.

Edit: Hmm, something pretty. odd. is going on, now the reply button isnt available for those comments over too far. Maybe it was just a temporary glitch. Still, the proof of really-far-over comments are still there!

Considering that your most nested comments are almost unreadable and waste a huge amount of screen space, I imagine that this is a bug rather than a feature.

I agree, although maybe a couple more would be good. It works better on mobile than on the web.

I think it’s an A/B test because I don’t have that option. I remember that there was a glitch a couple months ago where I managed to do it, but not now. I hope this feature is permanent!

I noticed I could reply further nested than usual yesterday. But, I didn't realize it was that far! O.O No idea if it's intentional or not though.

I actually don't see heavily nested comments in the discussion you linked, but in another discussion I read that the heavy nesting is only possible if you don't reload the relevant discussion page. I.e. it is extremely likely, as garpike said, to be a bug.

Should we test it on this post?
