Le père cuisine pour ses enfants should have been accepted, right?!
why not "le père cuisine pour ses enfants"
le père = "the father" and le papa = "the dad / daddy". It is a noun usually used by children, and is informal.
To suggest they are not synonymous is a stretch...
I used le pere and it was counted as a wrong word. This program is incorrect.
Why not le pere
Why was the use of 'pere' marked wrongly?
There are so many ways to say this...and I would never say it this way...The dad has to be "le papa?" Papa and père are no longer synonyms?
Why have Duo marked me wrong for putting pere rather than papa? What is the difference?
Maybe I'm old school, but I'm surprised "Le papa fait la cuisine pour ses enfants" doesn't work.
For me Le père fait la cuisine à ses enfants.
no ...tu es faux .
Le père fait la cuisine aux enfants. There needs to be a change here...
