Weakest words

So I went to do my lessons today, and was going to try to get one of them gold. So I clicked on one, and I noticed something new.....after the last exercise of that lesson is something that says "Weakest Words"..... Am I the only one who got excited about this?? Lol I'm so glad Duolingo added this.

That isn't new, it's always been there. Have you strengthened a skill before?

Not til just now. I didn't realize it was the same thing.

When I used it some time ago, the Android app had a "Weakest Words" bit in each skill, with the "Strengthen" button for that skill on the "Weakest Words" section.

The difference was that the app actually listed the words which were weak for that skill. I don't get to see that list of weak words on the website.

I prefer it when it lists them (I like more information rather than less), but I'm not really bothered that the website doesn't (for me).

Thanks for the additional clarification. I use the iPad duo app and the website but still haven't seen that particular feature.

Is this only on the app? I've never seen this before in the 3 years I've been on Duo...

I'm in the same boat Mr. Wesley. Except I use a computer, IPad, and IPhone, depending on my circumstances. I've never seen that option. SporadicAspirant mentioned the Android app...so maybe that's partly the reason and I also wonder if it's only offered in certain languages too?

It is in the Android App, at least for the courses:

  • Dutch, German, French and Spanish for English speakers
  • English for Dutch speakers
  • English and French for German speakers
  • English and German for French speakers
