How does learning Spanish make you feel?

Personally, I love learning Spanish. how about you? Id love to hear your answer in the comments section. How is it? Is it fun or boring or awesome? you choose. Even though, I have 3 languages that I learn, I've only tried 1 lesson of Portuguese and 0 on Irish I do Spanish (of course) the most. Im on level 13 (as you can see) and a 67 day streak (it will change) Im really good at it. (Even though Im almost halfway through the course of Spanish.) How good are you? Tell me in the comments section. Thanks!

Just got level 13, progress is solid enjoying the language more then I thought I would. The words are spelled exactly how they sound (H not included)

I'm not good at it by far but I dont consider being good at a language until you can carry on a conversation with it. Long long way to go but worth the effort.

Love it! I live in a very rural area where there is a huge lack of Spanish speakers... but I really want to broaden my mind and speak Spanish regardless. Everyone that I do know thinks I'm crazy and they all just think I"m wasting time with my silly little Spanish and Mandarin games.. I wish I could learn faster ... but I know its a time thing.. I love all that Duo keeps adding and I'm so enthused that I just can't quit.

Its really fun when i succeed but sometimes i have moments when i can't remember anything so i'm worried that i'm never going to fully learn it i have reached the end of the tree i'm studding for 8 months now

I can watch videos in Spanish and i can understand 80% of it but if i need to communicate in Spanish its really bad i'm not using a lot of duolingo anymore for Spanish since i don't feel like i can learn much more from it so my level is low

Spanish is a special language to me given how it's been a second language to a few relatives in my family and a first language on my sister's side (she's my half sister). Other than Finnish, Spanish is something I've always had an interest in and I have just now really gotten into learning it. I'd say I'm pretty good, but my main issue is the anxiety of talking to someone. I figure that will fade with time, though.

I feel it very useful. I moved to Los Angeles this August, and I started to learn Spanish two months before the moving. I found it very useful that I can read most of Spanish around me, like "en oferta" in a Mexico supermarket. Also, the day before yesterday I watched the movie "Coco", I found that I can understand all the Spanish lines.

I'd like to mention that I'll travel to Mexico and Cuba next two weeks.

I love learning Spanish, it is a practical language to know if you like to travel. I have lived in Chile and Argentina since I started studying with Duolingo, and I plan to live in Spain next year.

Congrats on your streak, and keep practicing! You will see improvement if you put in the time.

I love Spanish! For me it represented a lost part of my heritage that was reclaimed. I started here on duo and moved into other apps and even started attending meetup groups and now I speak Spanish fluently and love it. It is awesome when you translate less and less in your head and just understand what people are saying. Good luck on finishing your tree!

It makes me feel like I am listening to a wall of sound launched at me at the speed of light, although I suspect it will get 'slower', the more I actually learn and a sense of heat across my skin, like a bright sun shining on my back in the summer. (quite odd considering it is quite cold and snowy at the moment.). Also, a vague sense of confusion, mostly at grammar. (that is what happens if you focus solely on the Germanic languages: total and utter confusion when encountering a Romance language, because what do you mean you cannot use 'common Germanic vocab'? How on earth am supposed to associate stuff?)

AKA: Spanish = Staring at a wall of words, confusion written all over my face as I cannot quite comprend how to actually say I am a bit confused. Still, it is normal. It will change, but it will take more practice.
