Doesn't '칠판' refer specifically to a blackboard? Should that not also be an acceptable translation?
My dictionary specifically states blackboard, so I'd go with yes. It shows the characters for the word to be 漆板
The entry says it's equivalent to 흑판 (黑板), and gives the example sentence "칠판을 지우다", "wipe off the blackboard"
Naver shows that can be blackboard and chalkboard.
Board = chalkboard = blackboard
How does it matter if i write a or the?
2 years and "chalkboard" is still not accepted.
Stupid. Get it right duolingo
