Is it this the same as : Do you look for me?. Why does it have to be exactly "Are you looking for me?

Can zoek be translated also for to seek?

I do think "Do you look for me?" is actually more correct here. If they want us to translate into the present continuous, then the Dutch should be in the present continuous as well, no?

I have found that if the English is in the present continuous then the Dutch can either be in the present or the present continuous, but if the English is in the present then the Dutch must be in the present. If the Dutch is in the present continuous then the English must be in the present continuous and if the Dutch is in the present then the English can either be in the present or the present continuous.

Because we're asked to type what we hear in this exercise, and the speaker says "je" not "jij".
