Surely "wir besichtigen Berlin" should be allowed?

What I take from the article is that “besichtigen” in this context might indeed be correct. Is that so?

I think it would be better as a translation of "We are looking at Berlin" or "We are looking around Berlin".

Both are legal. You can't use besichtigen for people, only besuchen.

Well, according to the sometimes absurd literal translations Duo regularly tries to shove down your throat, the correct translation of this sentence should be: Wir sind Berlin am Besuchen.

Most German teens and young adults would ACTUALLY say this.......... unfortunately....
