Tell me about your experience with Japaneses on duo

I really enjoyed it. The sentences are oft times long and the grammar is interesting, so I particularly enjoyed that aspect, improving my comprehension. There was no speaking practice though, other than forcing myself not to be lazy and to speak it all aloud anyway. I'd really encourage that...speaking as much as possible, out loud when practicing

Do you think you can speak Japanese well now that you finished? Like in an conversation?

No, I wouldn't say well. I'd say just pretty basic. And as I have found with other languages, my comprehension is way ahead of my speaking ability. That's my next step with Japanese really, looking for opportunities to put it into speaking practice in real life situations.

I doubt they can since they wrote their post in English and not Japanese then English.
