No access to Korean or Japanese on PC
I was following the Japanese and Korean courses on PC but now I can't access either course anymore. Has this happened to anybody else? Can somebody explain why there isn't access to these courses on PC?
Yep, me too. I logged into a message stating that Korean for the web is not yet supported, and couldn't access my Korean or Japanese trees. Don't know why.
However, I was still able to find a way to my trees:
- Under your Learning list, make sure a language other than Korean or Japanese is selected.
- Go to Add New Course.
- Pick Japanese or Korean, then "switch to this course."
The languages still refused to appear in my "learning" dropdowns, but I did get back to my trees, this way.
Some moments ago I couldn't access the Japanese course forums while using the the internet on the phone. Mobile app and PC browsing worked normally. Refreshing the page did the trick, back to normal now. But it's not the first time something like this happened...
Makes me wonder, how "strong" exactly are Duo's servers? I know that there used to be an activity tab, but they couldn't hold it up.
Also, since I noticed I'm going to be heavily downvoted no matter what:
Are the Duo's servers too weak? Is it time for an upgrade? What's up with the wave of downvoting? It's getting ridiculous... people get downvoted for no reason at all. Seriously, someone should take a look at this.
if you have the mobile app, the japanese course is still available to use if you already had it selected
Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I can go to my Japanese homepage by clicking "switch to course", but I can't practice any of my lessons. And if I try to open a lesson in a new tab, it tells me that Japanese is not available on the computer version. I don't know why this is, either.
