Is it possible to use "finche" here, and how the sentences would be different ?

As in, "it is a week until my birthday". Which makes more sense to me than having a week missing before your birthday. I'll give it a try:

I put "he misses a weekend to my birthday" and it was accepted. As a native English speaker, I interpreted this sentence as "he won't be available this weekend because he's going to my birthday"
