I'm beginning to hate manca.
Hey! There actually IS only a week until my birthday! :)
Happy Birthday! Auguri!
Is it possible to use "finche" here, and how the sentences would be different ?
As in, "it is a week until my birthday". Which makes more sense to me than having a week missing before your birthday. I'll give it a try:
E una settimana finche il mio compleanno
Yeah, that's what I used last time. I think it counted me wrong though...
How are we supposed to get this? All the suggestions say "to miss!"
My answer was "one week left until my birthday." Shouldn't that be accepted?
Why not "E una settimana....." ?
why not 'it lacks a week to my birthday' clumsy but clear. and I do hate mancare.
I put "he misses a weekend to my birthday" and it was accepted. As a native English speaker, I interpreted this sentence as "he won't be available this weekend because he's going to my birthday"
