Distraction

Recently during my lessons on Duolingo I would procrastinate until the last minute and when that minute came I would easily get distracted doing other actives that are meaningless. Am I the only one who procrastinates and gets distracted? Is there a way to stop? Can you please answer my questions if possible.

That’s the exact opposite of me. I procrastinate with Duolingo.

But think about which will be more helpful to you in the future: Portuguese or those activities?

I do both honestly. I procrastinate on homework with Duolingo and I procrastinate my Duolingo lessons with other stuff such as the forum here.

You are probably just bored of Duolingo method. I have been going really light with duolingo this week doing other learning formats to changes things up.

Who cares what method you use and how much you switch up, end goal is all that matters.

Watch some youtube vids on target language for a bit the personalities are a good change. Or look at some other method. Change to all audio for a bit. /shrug

Think of it like this. What's gonna effect your future more? A new youtube video or learning Portuguese? We all struggle withe procrastination, all we need to do is remember what is important. Duolingo takes less than 10 minutes to do. It's worth the wait!

Think about why you started.

I typically don't procrastinate, but I would recommend having a personal goal and reminding yourself of that goal. It would motivate you to continue your progress on your lessons. Also as AnIsApandah mentioned, think about why you started on the road to learning the language.

I suffer from this daily. (This post is an example of this.) I don't know any good solutions for it however. :[
