[WIU] Week 51 Weekly incubator update discussion
Unfortunately, the WIU has been locked. (Actually, it was unlocked for a few seconds and I commented but my comment was deleted and the WIU locked.)
Fortunately, that is easily fixed by creating a new discussion for this purpose :)

Congratulations to team Welsh for getting tree 2.0 released to everyone! I've been lucky enough to have had the new version since it was released as an A/B test and it's amazing!
Hopefully newer users will be able to get through most of the skills without too much trouble, I've been hard at work submitting as many "reports" as I can (as have all the other users, I'm sure ;) ) and the contributors are always quick to respond. And their sentence and forum responses are amazing too, so ask as many questions as you need!
Ahh, I have so much love for the Welsh team. It's thanks to their fantastic course that I've finally gained an appreciation for the language... and am now totally in love with it. I think I can speak for everyone taking the course when I say diolch yn FAWR! for all your hard work, and I'm looking forward to any new developments that may happen in the future. :D

I'm actually disappointed to see a new Romanian update... purely because the language is right at the top of my "to-dabble-in" list (and may well enter my "to-learn-list"), but I'm already dealing with enough languages at the moment and it will have to wait a while... But seeing any mention of the language makes me want to drop everything and dive headfirst into the course! AHH! Stop enticing me, Romanian! I have no self-control!

Sad to see there are no new developments on the Klingon front. I hope that the technical issues they're facing are resolved soon, because I'm not exaggerating when I say that I need this course!
Thank you very much! I've still got a way to go before I finish the course, but I'm happy I've reached one milestone. :)
Is that the Thai flag in your profile picture? I'm really looking forward to the day a Thai course is released on Duo. I'd love to try learning a little Thai, even though the script is HORRENDOUSLY difficult. :P
@ Woof
Have you seen this course to learn to read the Arabic alphabet? It's really, really good. https://www.memrise.com/course/53083/how-to-read-arabic/
Anything to say on the Swahili tree? No updates for a lomg time. Is there any way we can help to get this moving again? I do neither speak English or Swahili fluently, so an application for incubator proabbly would be rejected (I didn't dare to try)) but I could do a lot of corrections here (simple stuff, like incomplete accepted translations). Is someone a the Duolingo staff having a look at this?
I really miss talking on the WIU. I think some people don't view these as the "official" discussions (and they aren't really - anyone can make a WIU Discussion post as long as one hasn't already been made) so they just ignore these. I certainly see less people on here than on the WIU back when we could comment there, and I never see Incubator workers who occasionally commented in the WIU here, and likewise mods ignore these posts (though Usagiboy7 used to make them.) Of course, these posts really help, but it's not exactly the same.
