Any review, thought, experience or tips about the tree that you can share? Congrats.

Congratulations! :D Do you plan to expand your knowledge on Greek then?

Thanks! Greek is a fascinating language, and I would really like to learn more in the future.

Συγχαρητήρια on finishing your Greek tree!

And I also must congratulate you on your streak and all of the trees you've completed! Thank you for being an inspiration to others on Duolingo! :)

(Also I'm encouraging you to finish your Swedish tree--if you haven't already :D)

Tack så mycket Speir_! I don't know why, my goal for the last 5 months was completing my Swedish Tree, but, every time I am going to do it, something appears, first, it was High Valyrian, then Romanian, Portuguese, Guarani, and now Greek. Now I will concentrate on just finishing the Swedish Tree. Thanks again for the encouragement, and lycka till !

Lycka till, Patrick.Phang!;D

What appeared with Portuguese? Do you mean stories?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Patrick.-

No, It's just that, every time I wanted to finish my Swedish tree, I got interested in other trees, first it was HV, then Romanian, and so on,

    Congratulations Patrick!

So, do you plan on ever visiting Greece? :)

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Patrick.-

Of course! I would love to visit Greece, specially Santorini, it's one of the most beautiful places in the world, and maybe, I could also visit Cyprus.

Ahh, yeah. Greece is a very pretty place in general, and I'm a fanatic for Greek art and mythology. Maybe that's the next language I should do...

Also, my best friend's family on his father's side is Cypriot. He's visited his family before and went on and on about how great the food was and how nice it is there.

I have only seen your post now and I want to congratulate you, too. You are for sure my inspiration although I have only learned Irish so far, well I have completed the Irish tree but I think there is a lot more to learn. In January I will begin the Spanish tree and hopefully, I will enjoy it the same as the Irish one. Comhairgheas, a chara. ;-)

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Patrick.-

Thanks, I've worked very hard to finish this tree

    Congrats Patrick!

How long did it take you? Was it very difficult for you with the writing system?

Have you already tried text or voice chatting on www.hellolingo.com?

I started the Greek tree like 7 or 8 months ago, and it wasn't hard to adapt to the new alphabet, as many letters looked like the same in the Latin Alphabet, and also because I already knew the alphabet many years ago, but I didn't know how to pronounce the letters, and the diphthongs were also very hard to learn.

I've not tried that site yet, thanks for the link and good luck!
