Reasons to learn Hebrew
Hebrew is a fascinating language to learn and sometimes hard, why are you learning Hebrew? What reasons are you learning Hebrew for ?
I'm learning Hebrew because I needed a foreign language for school, and Spanish and French just seemed so common. So I decided that I wanted to learn one of the original languages of the Bible. I had three choices, and Hebrew was my pick :)
So that I can debate against the Bible better (I'm irreligious), maybe go to Israel some day, and because it's a very old and rich language!
I hope I can go to Kfar Kama one day and speak Hebrew and Circassian there.
I would love to learn Hebrew! But i still having problems teaching myself German. I am 13 and i have no one to practice with or print papers, unlike French that i go to school for.
I am turning 13 soon, and tried learning french, spanish, german, welsh, japanese, chinese, greek, and more. but i actually had people to study with in those languages, not japanese chinese or greek but, i am loving hebrew! But it is very hard finding native speakers or study partners.
At first, for the challenge of it, to prove to myself that I could still learn a language from scratch that wasn't related to something I already knew. Also, I like how it sounds and the abjad, and I have been to Israel twice and loved it.
Now, because I've really fallen in love with how it works, and also because I've made friends via Hebrew, some of whom I would lose touch with completely if I forgot Hebrew.
