Is this ice hockey or floor hockey or both? I think Ice hockey is usually played indoors so therefore no rain. (saying that, I know that Duo gives weird sentences, so it could be a bear playing hockey in the rain at some point.)
This is what Americans would call field hockey. In commonwealh countries "hockey" usually refers to field hockey unless the context suggests otherwise (talking about the winter Olympics, for example).
I'll have to look up field hockey now! I've not actually ever heard of that. (mind you, I'm not into team sports and I know almost nothing about hockey) I've only ever heard of ice hockey and floor hockey (on a level surface, either with roller blades or just people running around-like in a school setting).
I would mention that it's not completely uncommon to play ice hockey in the rain if the temperature suddenly goes above freezing in the winter! I've definitely been rained on before while on an outdoor rink. Global warming and all that...
