Nice job on the updated skill tree

It was probably done earlier this month, and I've only just gotten to checking it out because of having the flu.

I had forgotten how painful and brutal Welsh' skill tree was from slowly working on it. Then this better one shows up and I'm all, "well... this is less painful"

Not certain if anybody posted some positive vibes to praise the people working on this stuff, already. Clearly this will be undone by like fifty bug reports... and maybe sixty of them are inaccurate #JustDeveloperThings . So, figured it was important to say thanks and good job.

Very impressed. And it's given me back the momentum I had lost after missing numerous days when away from home for various periods. Because of all the newly-ungilded earlier lessons I've chosen to basically start from scratch, but going through it a lot quicker because a lot of it is revision. And we're off to Wales tomorrow so my wife can attend a job interview in Bodelwyddan - we'll be staying near Llandudno, and have taken a couple of extra nights to chill before we come back to leafy Surrey.

I agree. It is great! And it was only released last week for everyone, I think.

I came to the discussion area to post the same thing, then I thought I'd save space by just responding to this thread. :)

When the new tree was introduced, I was a little bummed because I'd been SO close to finishing the tree after a year of daily lessons. But I quickly realized the new tree would help me improve, which of course is the whole point.

The new tree seems more effective than the last one – I'm noticing there are more repetitions within the lessons (either the same words or phrases, or just different tenses of the same verb over and over) which is actually great because it drills it into my head better. It all feels more thorough. I'm also finding myself doing more lessons each day than I used to do.

It's going to be a while before I finish the new tree, but that's okay. Thanks everyone who worked on it and continues to contribute to this great free website!
