Let's get Thai into the incubator!
Hopefully we can show there is interest in this language :)
The only thing we can do is try to find people who an speak fluent Thai and hope that they will make a course
I do, for sure! Speaking of Thai, I was looking at some of my world coins and noticed one that I thought was Burmese, but with a quick Google search found out it was one Thai baht.
I own: 1. Read Thai in 10 Days by Arthit Juyaso 2. Everyday Thai for Beginners by Wiworn Kesavatana-Dohr
Here are a few YouTubers that I am subscribed to: 1. https://www.youtube.com/user/IwanttolearnTHAI/videos 2. https://www.youtube.com/user/YingAndPaula/playlists 3. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxf3zYDZw9NjUllgsCGyBmg
Thai is an extremely complex language. While most of its grammar is simple enough, there are the undeniable oddities and things that make it very strange and difficult. And don't get me started on the writing system, which would be almost nearly impossible to teach here. It would cost a lot for Duolingo to add Thai.
Nevertheless, I would absolutely love to see it come here, and I would probably apply to contribute if I was fluent.
