Request for slow speech option in Japanese

Addition of a slow speech option for Japanese would make things a lot easier for absolute beginners like me and who are unfamiliar with Asian languages.

Thank you.

Even if in real life people speak really fast, when you start learning, it is good to have the optiion to slow down the pace. Just when you're starting to get used to the new sounds in the new language, the Duo french course has that option.

Well, in real life you don't have an option to slow down people's speech. If you are aiming to learn Japanese and be able to speak with natives then it's better to get used to the tempo early on.

I completely disagree. When I learned Italian initially, I slowed everything down. But it let me start to understand things, and now I almost never slow it down

For Japanese, I have a lot of trouble understanding any of the audio. If I could slow it down, I think I'd be able to really start developing my audio comprehension.

There is a website that I used, to help me slow down Podcast MP3s and other audio files. It has three settings, and I found it very helpful.
