an hour, and you can write and read hangul like a native, so yes, much much easier than spoken Korean.

Kinda yes and kinda no.

Hangul is read easily once you understand how it’s written, and there are new sounds but they’re not terribly difficult to learn. It just takes more practice because you need to learn how to speak them with your mouth. It’s like learning how to do any new skill; practice often until it’s perfect. Bat-chim (end-syllable consonants) makes both reading and speaking slightly harder but there are somewhat consistent rules to bat-chim. But overall Korean is easy to read and only slightly harder to pronounce.
