Downloading offline content on Amazon Fire tablet

I am a Duolingo Plus member which should allow me to download content to work offline. I can do this fine with my phone but on my tablet (android OS) it doesnt seem to recognize me as a plus subscriber nor does it give me the option to download content. Is this not available on the tablet or is there something I can do to fix it?

Any versions other than the website, iOS, or Android are extremely outdated. Duolingo is no longer supplying updates for any platform other than those three. So sadly it's not possible (at least that I know of). :[

Amazon Fire isn't Android, as such, it uses the open source version. I think this means you use the Amazon store which will probably have an old app without this functionality.

If you can get the Google store on your tablet, so you can get a recent app, or can get the files for the app, then you should be able to get a recent app working that should have this functionality. However, this might involve hacking it. I am not sure, so someone with more Android/FireOS knowledge would have to advise.

I would download the apk file from services like https://duolingo.de.uptodown.com/android directly and try to install it on your tablet.
