For anyone confused by this, a "-w-" added to the verb stem makes the passive voice in Swahili. consider "Mchezo Unaanza" (the game starts) vs. "Mchezo unaanzwa" (the game is being started).

In other exercises, they change the litteral translation of the kiswahili to natural sounding English (e.g. Esther ameolewa na Rashidi) but here, "The game is beginning" is wrong...
