German Tree

I am learning German with Duolingo.

I want to know how long it would take to complete the German tree.

So if i spent 2 hours everyday doing duolingo, get 100 xp everyday on new lessons, don't do it on major hoildays, and take 2 days a week for review. How many months would it take to complete it?

Danke!

not long, I committed similarly and finished the tree in about 4 months, so it probably wouldn't take you longer than half a year, depends how much of those 100 XP is new lessons and how much is repetition,

I took quite a long time... one year and a couple months... I preferred it slow and steady.

    get 100 xp everyday

That depends on where those xp's are earned... If it's all new lessons it's 10 lessons a day which is too much IMHO... if it's mostly strengthen exercises then it's fine.

Don't rush it... let the material sink in.

Figure how much time it took to get to level seven, then you can estimate how long to finish.

Just finished my german tree today, it took 31days. I hit it pretty hard though and already had some familiarity with the language. Am I 100% fluent with entire tree? No. But that’s what practice is for.
