security certificate errors on duolingo website

I'm running windows 7 pro, IE10 - and about an hour ago, started getting security certificate errors on the duolingo website.

Anyone else seeing this? I'm not seeing this problem with anything else- just duolingo.

It might be related to the Heartbleed problem. If Duo servers were using SSL versions that were affected, it would have been very prudent of them to change the certificates.

Do you have the correct system date and time?

hi- yes, my date and time are correct.. the message was appearing for awhile this morning, but for the last hour it has not shown up - so if you are not hearing from anyone else, then I'm going to assume it's something that may have been going on with some dns servers or something else.....

the error message was one of the standard MS messages that it can't display everything because some of content not secure because of certificate error....(I did not capture the exact wording-but it was a 'standard' msg) ...gave the 'show' option, which I was using every time it came up- and then I did not notice anything else being off......what was unusual was how persistent it was- every click -every screen- I first encountered it in immersion while I was translating some sentences...then checked to see if it was just duolingo, or if I was getting it anywhere else-- was only on the duolingo pages......

this morning, I got it about a dozen times......and then it stopped...... so........i'm betting it had nothing to do with my system or duolingo.....and was something going on in between that's worked its way thru.....

thanks for everyone's comments......

I have not encountered that. But I gave this a thumbs up so it will stay visible longer in case others are having a similar problem.

I'm not seeing that issue but I'm not running Windows either.

Linux? Good choice.

Maybe we could need more info about it.

-What did the error message say?

-Which sites did you visit in the meanwhile, between the moment where you had no problem and the moment whre you had troubles?

-Did you change the setting on IE recently? Did you download recently an antivirus, a firewall, or any other security-related program?

-Is your computer free of viruses and adwares? How recently did you check it?
