Latin

Latin is such an interesting and beautiful language. Although it is dead, it would be amazing to learn it on this site!

Many people have requested this language in the past. I don't know if this is the official Latin support post, but you can take a look at this if you want to support a Latin course.

YESS! And it would make a lot of the romance languages easier to- maybe a bonus course? Something like 'the source of cognates' or something?

Agreed. If we can get Klingon and other fake languages on Duolingo, why not a language that impacted a lot of terminology we speak? Latin could help me since I'm premed and interested in medicine.

This has been asked for plenty of times. This post tells about as much as anybody on the forums seems to know. There are dozens and dozens of other discussions of Latin in the forums. It's the 2nd- or 3rd-most requested language. It would be GREAT to have it offered by Duolingo.
