But, not to discourage you, many people have reported problems with Duolingo. But there is lots of good things about Duolingo!

You can actually see the levels each user has in the languages they're learning listed next to their usernames. For example, I can see that you've also achieved level 5 in Dutch. You can see that she has a two next to French, so that means that she is level 2 in French.
